STUDENT MINISTRY

We care deeply about the spiritual formation of our students at Chatham UMC. 

Junior High & High School Students are invited to engage in our disciple-growing programs. 

Youth Group at Chatham UMC

We are thrilled to be partnering with Springfield First UMC for ministries with students in 6th - 12th grades. 

Every Sunday night we gather with the student ministry group at Springfield First UMC for a time of worship music, a message, small groups, food and fun. Dinner is served every week.

Youth Group is Sundays from 4:45 - 7:00 pm. 

We even help with rides to and from Springfield First. 

We leave Chatham UMC at 4:25 and return by 7:30. 

Springfield First UMC is located at 2941 S. Koke Mill Rd. in Springfield. 

Confirmation

Confirmation is designed to engage students in 7th, 8th and 9th grade as they prepare to become full and vital participants in the life and ministry of Chatham UMC. Confirmation provides students with learning, mission and service opportunities, field trips, and experiences that challenge them to grow in faith and in life.  

Our next confirmation experience will begin in 2025.
