Pastor Darla is a licensed local pastor in the United Methodist Church. Pastor Darla has degrees from Blackhawn Technical College in Janesville, WI, Danville Area community College and Easter Illinois University. Darla is currently enrolled in a seminary-like program through Garrett Evangelical Theological Seminary in Evanston, IL. She'll finish in 2026 and interview to be an Assoicate Member. 

Pastor Darla has a heart for mission and service and serves on the board of Midwest Mission Distribution Center here in Chatham. She comes to us from the Watseka, IL area where she not only served three churches, but served through numerous clubs and organizations doing good work in the surrounding communities. Darla comes to serve alongside us at Chatham United Methodist and in the Chatham community. 

Darla is married to Jerry and together they have two children, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. They enjoy traveling, playing cards and games, NASCAR, football, community events and spending time together. Darla enjoys working outside, crafts (cross stitching & crochet), sewing for Midwest Mission, thrift shopping, mystery novels and coffee.
